These three lovely kittens were born this spring and are now close to 5 months old. They are in a wonderful foster home that has young children. The foster tells us they are just the sweetest and show patients and are very good with her little ones. They have been around dogs so just about perfect in every way. Up to date on shots, they will be scheduled for spay and neuters soon.
Two males, Jackson, and Sahara ( pictured with the pumpkin) and our little black and white female, C.J.
Please call Becky at 269-926-4279 for a referral to foster home.
A lovely snow white short-haired cat, this lady was left behind with several other cats at Spring Lake mobile home park. She is quiet and serene. Loves her butt scratched but otherwise very shy and timid.
She would love a quiet home where she could feel safe. She just had dental surgery and is feeling so much better. Canned food is a must.
Please call Becky at 269-369-0964 for an introduction.
Zoey~~ in date 2-28-18 at Paw Mart
Left behind in Country Arcs Trailer Park.
She is a shy, sweet girl who would love to come to brighten your home. Please visit at Martin 76's Paw Mart In St. Joseph.
Update: Zoey is now in a foster home and is much happier. She was getting very grumpy at Paw Mart and we feel would be best in a quiet home. She is good with other cats but definitely needs her own space.

Faye was abandoned by her feral mother when about 4 weeks old, found with a severe sinus infection she also tested positive for toxoplasmosis.
The poor little girl had to be in isolation for her first 2 months with us.
Due to the efforts of her great foster mom and donations, we were able to care for Faye and the numerous doctor's visits and medications. She has received a clean bill of health on the Toxo and it appears to be totally out of her system. She is out of isolation, enjoying a normal kitten life and the extra attentions of Uncle Ashton pictured. Ashton seems to think she is just the cutest little kitten in the whole world and we agree!
We are still having trouble with a lingering sinus issue. Right now she is considered special needs. She is up for adoption to the right home able to give her the ongoing help to thrive. Call Becky 269-826-4279 for a referral.
If you are one of our donors, thank you for helping us give Fay a chance, this is where your money goes.
This pretty young lady is now with Animal Aid.
Lizzie is spayed and all her shots.
She has been handed around several times and so deserves a real forever home.
Calm, sweet disposition, soft purr you have to coax with ear scratches, and long petting sessions.
Please come visit her at Martin's Paw Mart in St. Joseph MI.
She is just a year old. A scar above one eye from a previous injury.

Bunny the kitten hopped right into The Family Dollar and proceeded to get lost among the racks of sale items. She must have been hungry, because she ate the whole can of tuna we put in the trap we caught her with. Bunny is about 10 weeks old and has dark striping and circles on her gray hair that feels like real bunny fur. She loves to play and although a bit shy, she very much likes to have her neck scratched.

Cynder was found with two kittens abandoned at the exit to the bypass in South Bend off the toll road. The kittens have forever homes but this lovely girl is still looking for just the right home. She is about 18 months old, spayed, and very sweet. Would do best as the only female cat in the house. She likes to be queen bee!
She plays with Fosters male cat, but does not do well with the female cat, could just be a personality conflict. Very playful. Her favorite toy is her daughter's hair ties. Cynder steals them out of the bathroom, carries them to the kitchen, and then plays hockey.
She knows the word “No”! She has been trained to stay off counters and Christmas trees, loves to take naps under the trees though.

Gabriel was left at Motel 6 when his elderly owner went into a nursing home.
This all-white 6 year old with blue eyes as been distressing for a couple of months and is now in Martin's Paw Mart. He is also front declawed.
He will not be up for adoption long, we have several people interested but we are insisting that they go sit with him and bond. when you are this dame beautiful there is a lot of interest. But he needs a forever home capable of dealing with his grooming needs and that loves him for his personality, not just those big blue eyes. Skill with a cat brush is also essential.
He is an example of recent intake that might not be posted to our page here. We try to post rescue to our group facebook page. We can do it on our phone very quickly.
So there are many more cats available or nearly so but maybe on hold for ongoing medical checks, and just lack of time to get all the details together for posting. We joke that we are so busy on rescues that we feel like we are just chasing our tails constantly. No pun intended.
Captain Jack aka Spike ADOPTED
Two-year-old orange tiger. He was found with injuries to his ear and leg. He was also wearing a homemade spiked collar of questionable purpose.
No one ever responded to the lost and found ad so this very loving sweet guy is looking for a forever home. He really deserves to be pampered and be someone on the couch watching football and Saturday movie cat. He has had a ruff life in his two years.
He can be Met at Martin's Paw Mart in St. Joseph Michigan. Please thank the Paw Mart staff when visiting for allowing us this facility to help find these great cats home. Since we do not have a kennel their efforts on our behalf are just extraordinarily vital.
